	Head Nurse, Ob Gyn & Maternity Ward – Western Trained/Educated A Head Nurse of the Maternity Unit is a Registered Midwife whose competencies, qualifications, registration and/ or license are recognized by the local regulatory authority for registration. She functions in accordance with legislative and hospital policies and guidelines relevant to midwifery practise and assumes responsibility and accountability for her own actions and clinical decision making. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor or Diploma Degree in Nursing (duration of study not less than three years) from a recognised western institution - Post Graduate Degree in Nursing Management/Advanced Clinical Speciality desirable - Current/Valid nursing license. - 5 years demonstrated incremental leadership and management experience. - Specialist training/experience, e.g. neonatal or pediatric intensive care nursing, where necessary.
	Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Area (Western Trained)
	Head Nurse, Pediatric Ward – Western Trained/Educated Assumes overall responsibility for effective, efficient and cost-effective operation of the department. Directs, co-ordinates and evaluates the activities of the designated area for the purpose of maintaining optimal delivery of patient care. Required Qualifications: Bachelor or Diploma Degree in Nursing (duration of study not less than three years) from a recognized western institution Post Graduate Degree in Nursing Management/Advanced Clinical Specialty desirable Current/Valid nursing license. 5 years demonstrated incremental leadership and management experience. Specialist training/experience, e.g. neonatal or pediatric intensive care nursing, where necessary.
	Staff Nurse, Pediatric Ward – Far Eastern/Asian Required Qualifications: At least Two (2) years of recent post-graduate pediatric nursing experience (In patient setting) BCLS certification Private tertiary hospital experience desirable PALS (Paediatric Advance Life Support) will be an advantage Current/Valid license to practice nursing
	Clinical Resource Nurses (Emergency Department) – Western Trained/Educated Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates learning and development programs for assigned nursing unit in collaboration with the area Nursing Manager to ensure the competence and ongoing development of staff to support the American Hospital Dubai, mission and goals, and to meet Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards. Optimise clinical competence of nursing staff utilizing bedside teaching. Additionally, acts as resource to other nursing units as required. Required Qualifications: Minimum three year Diploma in Nursing (from Western accredited institution) Bachelor Degree Nursing preferred (from Western accredited institution) Post Graduate qualification in relevant specialty area desired Five (5) years current clinical experience in specific area of practice Two (2) years clinical teaching experience in clinical environment Experience in teaching in a multicultural environment desirable.
	Staff Nurse Neonatal Intensive Care Unit – Western and Far Eastern Candidates Trained
	Staff Nurse – Geriatrics (Middle Eastern Trained) Female / At least 3 years of experience with Geriatric patients / Private hospital experience preferred
	Health Care Assistants (Far Eastern/Asian) Female or Male / Nursing/Midwifery graduate (license not required) / At least 2 years hospital based experience as HCA or Nursing Aid desired
	Registered Nurse – ICU/CCU (Western trained)
	Registered Nurse / Midwife (Western Trained)
	Registered Nurse - Recovery Room
