Sr. System Administrator
We are looking out for a Sr. System Administrator for our Engineering MNC located in Dubai Investments Park, Dubai. He should have approximately 5-7 years’ experience and must have a Diploma or Engineering background. Salary: Dhs.11K-14K + transport+ food & other benefits as per UAE Law.
Job Requirement:
1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations host computers by
monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting
hardware/software products, including firewalls, SSL VPN, routers, switches,
and wireless equipment for a company with 50+ users.
2. Lead problem-solving efforts often involving outside vendors and other support personnel.
3. Establish, maintain and manage users Windows accounts and be responsible for system backups and recovery.
4. Install, modify and maintain systems and utility software on server computer systems.
5. Develop procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, user abuse and acts of nature.
6. Develop and coordinate project directions and schedules to maximize benefits and minimize impacts on the customer organizations.
7. Provide leadership in planning and implementation of projects for computer operations and enterprise systems administration.
8. Perform server and security audits.
9. Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
10. Research, develop, and implement new technologies and best practices.
